• Yes - I use the mini-rca jack on the rear panel from external ,devices. You can get adapters from many places to attach almost any audio device.

• You could connect a cassette unit through the Aux In input on the back of the unit. You would only be able to PLAY a cassette, not record. When I talk about a cassette machine, I mean a cassette deck. Hope this helps you.
