• The TV has simulated 3D setting which makes 2D pictures to simulated 3D.

• Yes this television is capable of converting normal 2D content into 3D content via the on board software. Though some of the image depth rendering can be exaggerated in some scenes, I was actually impressed with it's capabilities.
