Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The sound is great. It has a great option for choosing the perfect sound like a cinema mode, game mode, sports mode concert mode and standard. The sound enhancement features are amazing

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it doesn't. Picture is great though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are not many options for the sound but most of the pre set options such as Standard, Football mode, Cinema and so forth does a decent job. The surround sound in spite of being set to ON all the time once again does an Okay job or at least for someone like me who prefers high quality sound and crisp sound and good base from the speakers. I view my TV from about 8 feet and around 25 to 35 units on the volume seems plenty for most of my TV viewing. If you do want to enjoy your TV watching, you definitely will have to go for a sound bar or home theater if you want a personal opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not exactly..very decent in the low/mids..I recommend a soundbar..I use an Energy Power Bar Elite 2..try the Sony HT-CT 780,Denon DHT-514,Sonos Playbar or Polk Magnify. The 850c's a monster TV for picture quality @ a reasonable price but add a soundbar system..you'll appreciate the investment.
