I have this TV and I think it is OK in any room. It is not bright like Samsung, but it is more substantial in terms of depth of color, which means you get a better picture. Keep in mind that this is a preferential statement. The term "better" depends on what you prefer. I like deep, clear, colorful images that are better than super-bright images,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Using the remote select the "Home" button then when in the menu drop down to and click on "Settings". Scroll over to and click on "Picture & Display". Then click on "Picture Adjustments". Now click on "Light Sensor" and select "Off"; save this setting. Now click on "Change Picture Mode" and select "Standard Mode" then save this setting. This will give you a bright picture that is viewable in any bright light environment. I use this setting night or day; it provides a fabulous picture.
