Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We purchased the Bose 130 and feel like I'm in a movie theater with every program
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The TV doesn't need a sound bar unless you want surround sound for movies.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This TV actually has decent speakers. There is a sound adjustment for either table or wall mounting of the television. Make sure you have this toggleded correctly. If you want better sound, then there are a flotilla of excellent options. I have elected to use studio monitors (self powered) that deliver truly awesome sound at a reasonable price. I would recommend monitors that have a manual off/on switch to allow the Sony remotes to continue to adjust the volume. I just prefer simple to complicated... I have installed Emotiva 4S speakers at $300/pair and am very happy with these. They make larger and more expensive models too but space constraints limited my sonic options. All you will need to make these work is stereo out plug (A single 3.5mm out to two separate leads; one to each speaker. Make sure you get a stereo cable!) and an AC power strip with a master control plug. (The TV is plugged into the master socket and turns on the rest of the plugs when the TV is turned on.) I use a Belden but there are others that make this. Here's the Emotiva address: https://emotiva.com/products/series/powered-monitors I had to block off the rear firing bass ports with old socks due to my location so expect to do a bit of tuning when your speakers are set up. The only problem is the room smells a little when the speakers warm up; I guess I should have washed the socks first!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We bought the Bose CineMate 130. For terrific sound I recommend it! The TV speakers alone weren't enough to get the full affect of film-music and sound affects. Also I've been knocked out by the way concert-music comes across thru the Bose. Every kind of music is greatly enhanced.
