“With TV on cabinet, will Sonos playbar block part of the screen? My Sonos playbar is 3.3" high when placed on a cabinet with my old TV, which has a wide border. The new TVs have little or no border. Will my playbar block any portion of this TV's viewing area? You can't tell in the store because all TVs are wall-mounted there. If it will block some of the viewing area, are there stands available to elevate the TV a bit?”

My Sony sound bar is about the same height, and it does not block the picture, but it does block the remote receiver which forced me to hold the remote up in the air to use it. I just placed the sound bar behind the TV and it works just fine, with no perceived loss of sound.
