“Some of the reviews of the google os indicated issues with connection to att/direct and that it is not compatible. Are there any apps that google tv will not support? I am changing to streaming services and what to make sure google tv will support.”

Apps can be searched on the TV, your best chance is maybe going to best buy and search it yourself, but from my end every Google TV app that i found works, however i haven't tried the att one personally
