“I have a TV stand with mount that I want to use with a new Sony XBR-X55 900F TV. My current TV is an older Sony 46" TV. What is the distance to the VESA holes from the top and bottom of the 55" TV? I know the VESA pattern is 300mm. Thanks.”

I had exactly the same situation. Sony 46 to the Sony 55" 900F. To get you the numbers you are looking for would require unmounting the TV to measure. I can say that my 46" mount is the same used with the 55, and because of the bevel/frame of the old tv, the 55 is just a tad larger than the old 46. You would have to find one that is not mounted yet to get the exact answer you are looking for. Perhaps just buy it and open it at the store to measure. or find an open box. it is an older model. But, its a terrific TV.
