“On my old LG I would see a " HDR "on my screen to inform me that what I was watching was HDR content. I do not see that on my new Sony X80J, Do I need to enable something or does it just not give you that message? Thanks!”

I'm not sure about the HDR message but the TV automatically goes to the hi def channel.
