“I own a competitors TV and the midrange is terrible. When I'm watching a sporting event I can't hear the commentators over the crowd noise. Also, when music is playing in the background you can't hear the actors voices. How's the midrange on this TV?”

I bought a Samsung and the mid-range was terrible. Gonna be honest. I bought this Sony home and mid range was great just as picture and everything else was. I'd put this Sony I bought up against many of the higher priced 4K tv's in the store. And they have been calibrated. This tv came out of the box and we hooked up and got our DTV, Blu-ray and Roku stick hooked up; then turned it on. We couldn't believe how beautiful the picture was on this tv. I figured I would have to do some fine tuning on a few things. But I didn't have to touch anything. And we have been watching Shark Week on it today and it's like you are right in the water with some of these divers.
