The reason they're no longer doing the side speakers is because the consumer has spoken. Most people dont like them for some reason. So Sony listened and have gone to trying to focus on what consumers say they care about the most. Small bezzel and thinness of the tv. Sony now offers the thinest tv out. Somehow its thinner than lg's OLED. As far as mounting the tv you need to make sure you're mounting it properly. This tv is approximately 102 pounds. First thing first you need to make sure your mount supports it. Secondly since this is a heavier tv you need to make sure that all mounting screws for the back brace support are actually screwed into wood beams/studs in your house. Unlike lighter tvs this tv in no way can be supported by a mount that is only screwed into dry wall.
