Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue. The 2 end mounts are removable and can also be located in the center ( there are 2 attachment points under the Tv). I mounted mine to a stand that was part of a table made for TV's.

I will warn you this tv is over 100 pounds and is taller than most tv's. The possibility that this tv could tip over is very high. When I purchased the tv I was going to do the same thing and put it on my entertainment center. However, the salesman begged me to get the wall hang after he said one he sold fell over. I also consulted Sony, they too said the safest thing to do is put this massive tv on a wall mount, especially since I have children.
