  • QuestionIi understand that the viewing angle of the bravia 9 is supposed to be significantly better than the bravia 7 (which i own). How does the viewing angle of the bravia 5 compare to the bravia 7 and 9?

    Asked by NeTFLoODeR.

    • Answer Hi, Snowynorth, Thanks for the question. Regarding to the information, take in consideration the following: While the BRAVIA 9 incorporates X-Wide Angle technology to drastically improve off-axis viewing, the BRAVIA 7 and 5 do not include it. Instead they have semi gloss anti-glare screen, which may not be as effective as the BRAVIA 9, but it will definitely reduce the reflection from wide-angle layers. Thanks for considering Sony products, have a great day! -DiegoV

  • QuestionDoes this TV have an adjustable stand, is the width of the stand adjustable?

    Asked by Leda.

    • Answer Hi Leda, Thank you for reaching out with your question regarding the Sony BRAVIA 5 (K65XR50). The stand for this model is indeed adjustable, though its flexibility is focused on vertical clearance rather than horizontal width. This "2-way stand" provides you with the following options: - Standard/Low-Profile Setting: This allows the TV to sit closer to the surface of your furniture for a sleek, integrated look. - Soundbar Setting: This raised position elevates the screen to provide the necessary clearance to fit a soundbar underneath without obstructing the picture. Regarding the width of the stand, it is not adjustable. The TV supports a single, fixed narrow position where the feet are placed toward the center of the display. For your installation planning, the stand width in this configuration is 18.75 inches (476 mm). If you are planning to place this TV on a specific piece of furniture, please ensure the surface can accommodate this 18.75-inch footprint. Thank you for considering Sony! Regards, Dominick
