QuestionWill remote control included control Direct TV and Amazon Fire or do I have to have a different mode Sony? I made the mistake and bought the wrong Sony TV earlier this year and couldn't return the TV to upgrade to a different model.

- Answer Hi Msprissy, Thank you for the inquiry. You can connect to an Spectrum cable box using an HDMI cable. Unfortunately, the Spectrum App is not available on the Google Play Store app. However, you can use the built-in Chromecast feature to cast the content from the Spectrum TV app to your Sony TV. Chromecast lets you cast your favorite videos, games, and apps from your mobile device in full quality to your Chromecast built-in TV. QuestionI have the 65” xrA80J. There is about an 1/8 to 1/4” of unused display across the bottom of the screen and maybe a slight amount along the sides. Is this normal? I’ve done everything to use those as well but they are always there.

- Answer Hi JimMc, Thanks for your inquiry. The stand of the XR65A80J TV can be installed in a soundbar position. However, it only gives about 2 7/8 inches (72.3 mm) free space for placing a soundbar beneath the TV. -Ralph

QuestionWith all inputs turned off to the XRA80J, how can you tell if the TV is on or off. I don’t see any power indicator light anywhere.

- Answer You’ll always see something. If you’re on Google TV, you’ll either see your content, a dimmed home screen, a screensaver, or the TV will be off. If you’re on an input and the input’s device is off, you’ll see a gray shifting screensaver that says your input device is off. There’s a power light in the bottom center of the TV that flashes when adjusting volume or turning the set on. There are power settings you can adjust, like idle time, etc.

- Answer I havent tried using a LAN/Ethernet connection. I also have a 1 Gbps up/down connection but use WIFI. Signal is strong and TV shows a consistent speed of about 300 Mbps up/down which is more than enough for anything up to and including 8K streaming (if it existed).
