A:AnswerThat is correct. You would need to have a preamp output for the center channel so the volume works correctly, but yes this would work.
It does a decent job for dialog as long as you cross it over high enough in my opinion. However for me it wasn’t acceptable when playing music. Was hoping I could eliminate my big, ugly center channel. Unfortunately it wasn’t good enough for me. Maybe it wil work for your application!

A:AnswerTough question to answer. I would go with a new stand. I would absolutely spend a couple hundred bucks to preserve a $1200 TV. But I would look for one that prevents the TV from falling forward. If you’re TV is gong to break from some sort of fall, it will most likely be from falling forward.

A:AnswerHi REman,
Thank you for your question. The X90L doesn't have Picture-in-Picture (PIP), Picture & Picture (P&P), or Twin Picture capability. However, similar functionality may be available through a third-party service or channel for sports, videos, etc. Check with your cable or satellite TV provider for options.

A:AnswerHi BeanBunny,
We understand your concern about the TV stand. For optimum performance, make sure that the stand is installed properly. It is designed to provide stability to the TV. Aside from using the TV stand, you do have the option to wall-mount the TV to keep it more secure from the surroundings. We recommend the Sony SU-WL855. You can also use a VESA compatible wall-mount bracket that supports 11.81 x 11.81 inches (300 x 300 mm) (W x H) hole pattern and a weight of 53.4 lb (24.2 kg).

A:AnswerHi Danny, Thank you for your inquiry! The distance from the lowest VESA mount hole to the bottom edge of the TV is approximately 140.9mm/5.547inches. Hope this helps!

A:AnswerHi MikeG,
Thank you for reaching out to us. The Sony BRAVIA X90L does not feature our specialized anti-reflection technology or a specific anti-glare screen coating. However, because it features a Full Array LED panel, it delivers excellent peak brightness that naturally helps combat ambient room light and mild glare.
If anti-reflection technology is a priority for your setup, we highly recommend looking into the Sony K-65XR30M2 (BRAVIA 3 II) or the premium BRAVIA 9 series, both of which are engineered with dedicated anti-glare screen enhancements to drastically minimize room reflections.
We really appreciate your interest in Sony!
Regards,
Dominick
A:AnswerHi there,
We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble setting up and connecting your new Sony X90L to the internet. We know how frustrating that can be, but we are here to help! Please try the following troubleshooting steps to get your TV online:
1- Power Cycle Your Devices: Unplug both your Sony TV and your internet router from the power outlet for about 2 minutes. Plug them back in, allow the router to fully boot up, and try connecting again. This often clears out minor network glitches.
2- Check the Distance/Signal Strength: Ensure your TV is located within 25 feet of your router. A weak Wi-Fi signal can prevent the TV from establishing a stable connection during setup.
3- Verify Your Password: Wi-Fi passwords are case-sensitive. When entering your password, we highly recommend selecting the "Show Password" option on the screen. This allows you to verify that all capital letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols are entered correctly.
If you have tried these steps and the issue persists, please reach out directly to our dedicated technical support team so we can look into this further for you:

A:AnswerHi Cookiek,
Congratulations on your new BRAVIA X90L! For the best setup with your HT-Z9F, please connect the HDMI cable to HDMI Input 3, as this port supports the eARC function necessary for your sound system.
While the X90L supports the S-Center Sync feature (using the TV as a center speaker), the HT-Z9F model is unfortunately not compatible with this technology. If you are interested in this feature, it is supported by our newer soundbar lineup, including the HT-A3000, HT-A5000, and HT-A7000. You can find more details and a full list of compatible models here: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/televisions-projectors/articles/00266459

A:AnswerHi Shakhowt,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the compatibility between your Sony BRAVIA X90L and the AVD-K800P DVD Receiver. Because the AVD-K800P is a legacy unit, it primarily utilizes analog RCA connections (the red, white, and yellow cables). Modern televisions like the X90L have transitioned to high-definition digital interfaces, so you will find that these traditional RCA ports are no longer available on the back of the TV.
While there isn't a direct plug-and-play connection, you may be able to bridge these different technologies by using a third-party RCA-to-HDMI converter. This adapter would allow you to plug your receiver's analog cables into the converter and then run an HDMI cable from the converter to one of the HDMI inputs on your BRAVIA X90L. Please keep in mind that while this can enable the connection, the video quality will be limited by the original output of the DVD receiver.
Thank you for choosing Sony, and we hope this helps you get your system up and running!
Regards,
Dominick
A:AnswerHi Biged,
We are sorry to hear that your BRAVIA XR X90L is powering off unexpectedly. To resolve this, we recommend first checking your Eco and Power settings to ensure that the Idle TV Standby or Sleep Timer features are not accidentally enabled. Additionally, please ensure your TV software is updated to the latest version and try a power reset by unplugging the TV from the wall for two minutes before plugging it back in.
Thanks for choosing Sony.
Best regards,
Eliab
