  • QuestionMy stand is 15" deep. Will this be enough room to comfortably fit the tv? I know the legs take up close to 14" so would purchasing a wider stand be necessary?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Tough question to answer. I would go with a new stand. I would absolutely spend a couple hundred bucks to preserve a $1200 TV. But I would look for one that prevents the TV from falling forward. If you’re TV is gong to break from some sort of fall, it will most likely be from falling forward.

  • QuestionThe two “legs” this tv stands on are so flimsy that this tv is very dangerous in a household with children. It could easily be tipped over if a kid runs into the console. How can I secure this 65” screen so it’s safe with kids around?

    Asked by BeanBunny.

    • Answer Hi BeanBunny, We understand your concern about the TV stand. For optimum performance, make sure that the stand is installed properly. It is designed to provide stability to the TV. You can also use a VESA compatible wall-mount bracket that supports 11.81 x 11.81 inches (300 x 300 mm) (W x H) hole pattern and a weight of 53.4 lb (24.2 kg). • QuestionWe are getting the above tv Sony 65I ,nch Bravia XR Led UHD tv and we have a Sony AtmosModel No. SA-Z9F system HT-Z9f. Should I put the HDMI cable in HDMI 1 or 2 and will tv center speaker work with that?

    Asked by cookiek.

    • Answer Hi Cookiek, Congratulations on your new BRAVIA X90L! For the best setup with your HT-Z9F, please connect the HDMI cable to HDMI Input 3, as this port supports the eARC function necessary for your sound system. While the X90L supports the S-Center Sync feature (using the TV as a center speaker), the HT-Z9F model is unfortunately not compatible with this technology. If you are interested in this feature, it is supported by our newer soundbar lineup, including the HT-A3000, HT-A5000, and HT-A7000. • QuestionCan I connect AVD-K800P DVD RECEIVER TO MY SONY TV

    Asked by Shakhowt.

    • Answer Hi Shakhowt, Thank you for your inquiry regarding the compatibility between your Sony BRAVIA X90L and the AVD-K800P DVD Receiver. Because the AVD-K800P is a legacy unit, it primarily utilizes analog RCA connections (the red, white, and yellow cables). Modern televisions like the X90L have transitioned to high-definition digital interfaces, so you will find that these traditional RCA ports are no longer available on the back of the TV. While there isn't a direct plug-and-play connection, you may be able to bridge these different technologies by using a third-party RCA-to-HDMI converter. This adapter would allow you to plug your receiver's analog cables into the converter and then run an HDMI cable from the converter to one of the HDMI inputs on your BRAVIA X90L. Please keep in mind that while this can enable the connection, the video quality will be limited by the original output of the DVD receiver. Thank you for choosing Sony, and we hope this helps you get your system up and running! Regards, Dominick

    Asked by Biged.

    • Answer Hi Biged, We are sorry to hear that your BRAVIA XR X90L is powering off unexpectedly. To resolve this, we recommend first checking your Eco and Power settings to ensure that the Idle TV Standby or Sleep Timer features are not accidentally enabled.
