Q: QuestionMy stand is 15" deep. Will this be enough room to comfortably fit the tv? I know the legs take up close to 14" so would purchasing a wider stand be necessary?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Tough question to answer. I would go with a new stand. I would absolutely spend a couple hundred bucks to preserve a $1200 TV. But I would look for one that prevents the TV from falling forward. If you’re TV is gong to break from some sort of fall, it will most likely be from falling forward.

Q: QuestionI see this TV has an optical jack, really leaning towards buying it even though it's an older model. Can this TV turn on a sound bar via optical jack when your turn TV on? Soundbar is capable. Thanks
Asked by Buyer.
- A:Answer Hello Buyer, Thank you for considering Sony products! We appreciate your question and are here to assist you. The Sony XR-65X90L TV has an optical audio output, which carries audio only—not power or control signals—so the TV can’t turn a soundbar on via the optical jack. This TV does include HDMI eARC, which supports full audio and power control through HDMI-CEC (Bravia Sync). Using eARC is the best way to have the soundbar turn on/off automatically and control volume with the TV remote. Just make sure HDMI-CEC is enabled on both devices. For more details about this feature, you can visit Sony's support page: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00161073 Best regards, -Fred

Q: QuestionCan a Bose SOUND Bar Be used with this tv? Imam already using the ARC port for cable input….
Asked by Bmw.
- A:Answer Hi Bmw, Thank you for your question! Yes, a Bose Sound Bar can definitely be used with your Sony BRAVIA X90L. Since you are using the HDMI eARC/ARC port for your cable box, we recommend moving the cable box to one of the TV's other three HDMI inputs. This will free up the HDMI 3 (eARC/ARC) port to connect your sound bar for the best quality audio and seamless volume control. Alternatively, the TV also features an Optical Digital Audio Output port that you can use to connect your Bose system. We hope you find this information helpful, and thank you for considering Sony products! Regards, Dominick
