- Answer There is an article about it on the Sony website. It is intentionally tilted for "lower viewing". I assume that means that if you are sitting on a very tall chair and the TV is on the floor, you are in business. Otherwise, you have to build up the back of the stand with a wood spacer or something to compensate. It is not adjustable.

QuestionHow sturdy is this tv if just used on its base alone, and not mounted to the wall? Don't need a stiff breeze or someone bumping into it causing it to be knocked over..
