“I have an Onkyo TX-NR5009 A/V Receiver with ARC. If I connect a Dolby Vision device to this TV, and then have the eARC go into one of the HDMI 1.4 inputs of the A/V Receiver, will the A/V Receiver play uncompressed 5.1 as it normally dies with Blu-rays?”

Hi MichaelZ, Thank you for the inquiry. The receiver must have eARC as well for uncompressed audio and the receiver needs to support these formats. The X80J Audio Format supports Dolby™ Audio and Dolby™ Atmos. The connection from the source to the receiver must be the same standard for it to be compatible along with high-speed cables that also support these formats.
