Hi Chuck7784, Thank you for the inquiry! The KD65X80J works with soundbar with compatible connections. If only one of the devices is ARC/eARC compatible, the HDMI® ARC/eARC feature can't be activated. To get sound from your TV, you will need to connect the audio system with an optical cable or audio cable.
