QuestionSpeaker distanceIf I want the sub-woofer farther away, does Sony sell an extender cable (with connector) to plug into the wire end and allow for an extra 4-5 feet? What about cutting/splicing the existing speaker wire - will that harm the sound quality?

- Answer I can only speak for myself, but, I did cut and splice all three speakers for my setup. I needed an extended distance pushing out about 30 feet of cable. Everything works good with no noticeably diminished sound quality.

- Answer You have to move the antenna up and over. It took me some time to get a spot for the stations.

QuestionHi. My system was a trouble. The only button who is good on is the button volume and the on/off. The other ones dont work and its not the "lock mode" like inside the manual. What di you thing about that? Is inside the system the trouble? Thanks

QuestionIs this a mini hifi shelf system comparable to the size of the LG 700W mini hifi shelf system? There wasn't a shelf display for the Sony as it is being discontinued and have onl one boxed version at the BB near my home.

You can use these dimensions for reference: Dimensions (W/H/D, including largest protrusions) (excl.speakers): MHC-ECL99BT: Approx. 193 mm × 300 mm × 260 mm (7 5/8 in × 11 3/4 in × 10 1/4 in).
