• The receiver will be fine with 8ohm speakers. Four of them will be easy for the receiver to drive with about 50 watts to each speaker. If your speakers can not handle the full 50 watts be careful not to run the receiver at full volume. Chip

• I have a SONY STRDH550 AUDIO/VIDEO RECEIVER and have four 8 ohm speakers connected to it with no issues whatsoever. I am really pleased with this receiver.
