• No need for equalizer, save that for your 2.0 stereo setup.

• You don't need an equalizer as sound is excellent on Sony's own sound presets like PLII or JAZZ presets built in.

• Hi Catapult23753, yes, as long as the device supports the required connections of the receiver. This receiver also has a built-in equalizer as well. Thanks, -Mark
