“Had a Sony DAV-HDX265 took a lightning hit. Will this unit plus a blue ray player work with my Sony speakers already wired in the walls? The Sony system we had worked and sounded great. My speakers are hard wired in the walls and would like to still use them . Like having all Sony so remotes are similar. Want to add a Blue Ray player.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this until to replace a home theater unit that did not have wireless capability, and I connected it to the same speaker wires as before. My speakers are all hard-wired in the walls and ceiling and all of the connections worked exactly as expected. This unit also has a neat App called TV SideView that allows you to operate it with an iPhone. You can add a Blue-Ray player to this. Just make sure it can be operated wirelessly to cut down on how many remotes you need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yep. They'll work...BUT...how big a hit did the system take? I ask because the wires in the wall could be damaged. Check the wattage on those speakers; the more lower wattage speakers are pushed, the hotter the wires get. So, the point is, YES, the speakers will work with this sweet unit. However, check the wires out for safety's sake.
