“I just want to connect 4 speakers (2 big and 2 small) to this to listen to music. Not for video. How should or what port on the back should I connect them to in order to have a great sound because it has surround, left, right and just don't know. Thanks”

I would hook up the big speakers to the Front Speaker ports on the back of the Sony Receiver and the smaller ones to the surround ports. Then go to the menu on the remote and press Stereo and you'll get sound from all 4 speakers. If you are getting a "surround" broadcast, try experimenting with Dolby Surround.
