  • QuestionIs there a way to attach anti-tipping straps to the back of the TV?

    Asked by Mari.

    • Answer My anti tip straps are connected to the two upper holes where a wall mount bracket would be screwed into the back of the TV as on my 2021 Sony Bravia XR 55 X90J in photo. It probably is the same on this Sony Bravia XR 75 X90L that I also want.

  • QuestionHow would the picture on a 75 inch screen look with a B&W SD 480 look, would it look worse on a bigger screen like the 75 compared to a 65 inch screen, I watch a lot of old TV shows from the 50’ & 60’s, and old movies will the screen size be degraded .

    Asked by DannyT.

    • Answer Hi barberdan, Thanks for the question! We understand that you watch a lot of old TV shows. Please note that 480p is a low-resolution format, and the picture quality will not be as good as native 4K content. Overall, both the 75" and 65" are great as they both utilize Sony's Cognitive Processor XR, which includes powerful upscaling technology to enhance the quality of lower-resolution content. Bring back lost detail, with reduced noise, and see all your HD and digital content upscaled to near-4K resolution with XR Clear Image and XR 4K Upscaling. With Sony X90L, see breathtakingly beautiful pictures full of realistic depth on our Full Array LED screen powered by Cognitive Processor XR. Hear sound straight from the screen, perfectly matching the action. Cognitive Processor XR™ turns any sound immersive with more precise sound position. And with 4K/120fps, a Variable Refresh Rate and Auto Low Latency Mode, our TVs give you smooth and clear movement for responsive gameplay. Hope this helps! - Kris

  • QuestionDoes the Tv have a built-in camera?

    Asked by Mary.

    • Answer Hi Mary, thanks for your question. No, this XR75X90L does not have a built-in camera. See a vivid, crisp picture while you watch and game, all enhanced by Full Array LED and powered by the intelligent Cognitive Processor XR. • QuestionWill an SB1 model angled stand work with this TV?

    Asked by James.

    • Answer Hi James, thank you for asking! The XR75X90L features a VESA mounting pattern of 300 x 300 mm and weighs 35.4 kg (78.0 lbs). Additionally, the TV is equipped with two legs positioned on either side. If the stand you intend to use meets these specifications, it should work well with this TV. • QuestionHow do I pair 2 era 100 speakers with this set? If we pair one the other one will disconnect they will no play together.

    Asked by Tippy.

    • Answer Hi Tippy, thanks for your question! We understand you're looking to pair two speakers with your XR-75X90L TV and are experiencing some difficulty getting them to play together. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Regrettably, directly connecting and playing two speakers simultaneously as a stereo pair directly to your TV via Bluetooth isn't a supported configuration. Your TV's Bluetooth connectivity is designed to pair with one device at a time for audio output, which is why when you pair one speaker, the other disconnects. For detailed information on how the speakers work, we highly recommend contacting the manufacturer directly. Thanks for considering Sony products! Best regards, Estefany

  • QuestionIs better to use Appletv 3rd gen or Roku ultra Dolby atmos instead off the built in apps at the tv

    Asked by Sony1.

    • Answer Hi Sony1, The built-in Google TV on your Sony X90L already offers excellent performance with 4K, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support. However, if you prefer a different interface or are deep in the Apple Ecosystem, an Apple TV 4K is a great option. Roku is also a solid choice for a simpler, easy-to-use experience, but for most users, the built-in apps work great without needing any external device. Thanks for choosing Sony. -Eliab

  • Questionhow many nits of brightness does it have

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Peak Brightness Levels • HDR Peak Brightness: In real-world highlights (like a sun glint or explosion), it hits between 1,200 and 1,300 nits. Some professional testers have even pushed it as high as 1,450+ nits in specific 10% window tests.  • SDR Brightness: For regular TV and sports, it typically sits around 500–600 nits, which is plenty to combat glare in a sunlit room. • Full-Screen Brightness: If the entire screen is white, it maintains about 650 nits. This is impressive because it means the TV doesn't "dim down" significantly during bright scenes like hockey or snowy landscapes.

  • QuestionWhat is the difference between xr-75x90k and x90L?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Here are the key differences: 1. Brightness & Contrast • Brightness: The X90L is roughly 20–30% brighter than the X90K. While the X90K usually peaks around 900–1,000 nits, the X90L regularly hits 1,200–1,300+ nits.  • Local Dimming Zones: The X90L has about 60% more dimming zones (approx. 80–90 zones on the 75" model compared to about 54 on the X90K). This results in much better control over light, meaning less "blooming" around white text on dark backgrounds.  2. Image Processing (XR Clear Image) • The X90L introduced a new feature called XR Clear Image. This specifically improves how the TV cleans up noise and blur in low-quality content (like cable TV or older streaming shows). The X90K does not have this specific software enhancement.  3. Design & Build • Bezel: The X90L has a much more premium Seamless Edge aluminum bezel. The X90K uses a more traditional plastic frame.  • Size Options: The X90L is available in a massive 98-inch size, whereas the X90K topped out at 85 inches.  4. Gaming & Interface • Game Menu: The X90L includes Sony’s dedicated Game Menu, which allows you to quickly toggle VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), motion blur reduction, and even add a custom crosshair to the screen. (Note: Some of these were eventually added to the X90K via firmware, but they are native and more refined on the L).
