• Currently the TV does not support 8K through its internal apps. YouTube offers a small number of 8K titles, but the codec used to steam these is not definitively set and currently not supported by Sony— There is no 8K content on any other streaming service. The TV supports 8K from external devices through an HDMI port including the new PlayStation5. Currently the TV will not support 8K and HDR at the same time. 8K is very new and as it becomes more common expect firmware updates that supporting it in TV streaming services and HDR—
