• This remote is preprogramed to control Sony products. If it does not work out of the box, you can use the Find Code function to program the remote.

• If it has IR and if you have old remote for it - it should. You can teach it certain or all buttons from your old remote. I manually programmed it and now it works great with my Xbox and old Insignia TV for which I could never find a code.

• The RDR-VX521 is not specifically listed on the VCR section of the chart as being compatible. However, the learning feature on the remote allows the user to control items by recording selected features.
