GEE, I'm suprised you didn't call me boomer!!! There could be many reasons why I don't want anything to do with google or netflix!!! Too bad that your opinions are clouded by your prejudice. By the way, I DO NOT HAVE CABLE!!!!

Please try again later.The TVs OS is AndroidTV which is google developed, there is no getting around google with this TV unless you attach a streaming stick with a different OS like Roku or Firestick. However based on the question you are probably an old school user that still wastes money watching commercials, I mean cable. For that you will just have to click on the TV icon after you turn the TV on. Netflix is just an app, you can disable or uninstall.
