Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I ran into the same problem and had to mount mine. Let me tell you the length isn't the only problem. The foot stance meaning the distance from the front to the back is 18 inches! Much, much to much depth for the stand I had. So keep that in mind. Other than that I love the TV. I used a Sansa TV mount I think that's the name of it. It's the mount that best buy sells and it was very easy to install
