The two points are 18 inches apart. The overall length is 56 inches like they said. Don't be fooled as it's deceptive that just because you have the overall length that you also have the depth! I had to wall mount mine due to this ridiculous 18 inch, foot distance

MY question is I see the stand legs flare out toward edges, Does the width of 56ish inches of the stand specs takes this into account or are we talking width from leg to leg from where it is screwed in to tv, any clarification would be appreciated.. I was also curious if I would be able to switch legs and invert the flare to point inward if that makes sense??
