Yes, but you may need to download the app which you can do through the TV app store

We do apologize but currently the TV does not support the DirecTV app. However, the X85J is a 4K DIRECTV ready. Every terminal on all 4K/8K BRAVIA TVs supports HDCP 2.2 or 2.3 protocol that allows you to connect various compatible 4K media boxes.
