The X85J includes a Light Sensor that optimizes picture brightness to room conditions, boosting brightness in light rooms and reducing it to dark ones so you get the perfect view. Our unique ambient optimization technology with a light sensor automatically adjusts pictures and sound to your environment. With an Object-based HDR remaster, the color in individual objects on-screen is analyzed and the contrast adjusted, unlike most TVs where contrast is only adjusted along one black-to-white contrast curve. Because objects are remastered individually, this TV can reproduce greater depth, textures, and more realistic pictures. Also, you can configure various settings related to the TV display such as color and brightness for picture quality, or screen size. To access the settings, on the remote control, press the gear (Quick Settings) button, then select Settings → Display & Sound → Picture → the desired option.
