“Hello Sony/Best buy, we bought this tv today, coming on Oct 8th, would like to know the space needed to hold the TV stand. I know it's about 60 inch wide but needed to know Depth to see if my current TV stand can hold this tv or do I need to order a stand”

The depth of the TV is 2 7/8 inches. The TV takes two fairly strong people to lift and hang it on a wall mount. Make sure your wall mount is designed to handle at least 100lbs and make sure the mount is bolted into the 2x4 framing behind the wall.
