A:AnswerThe feet are 17.5 inches front to back and fit into sockets 60 inches apart on the bottom of my 85 inch X900H. There are no "closer in" sockets. The 85 inch version of the set weighs 103 pounds and is quite stable using the feet, if the supporting surface is completely stable. I subsequently wall-mounted mine. I can't imagine the feet being stable enough if they were closer together. It's a big set.
A:AnswerThe four threaded VESA sockets are 400 X 400. Four 20mm long "extension" studs were included with my XBR-85900H. These have a threaded bold on one end and a threaded socket on the other end. I believe these extensions have to be used, since the VESA sockets are slightly recessed. Love the TV, by the way.
A:AnswerWith my delivery, I didn't have them wait to unbox the t.v. Personally just wanted them to deliver it and leave. It was a HUGE box and took me awhile to unpack the t.v. but it was very secure, well packed and well protected. I had no issues and everything looked great.
A:AnswerHello Wes,
Thank you so much for your inquiry. A surge suppressor or surge protector is optional and not really necessary to use this TV. We recommend connecting the AC power cord of our X900H directly and securely to a working wall outlet that has a power of 120V AC, 60 Hz to avoid any power issues.
I hope you find this information to be helpful!
Best regards,
Romeo
A:AnswerHi Jo, Thank you for purchasing one of our TVs. The Android TV™ device is designed to lean back slightly on the stand in anticipation of setting it on a low TV rack. It's considered ergonomical to set your TV at a lower position and tilted back by a couple of degrees. Unfortunately, the TV stand doesn’t have a mechanism for tilting forward or backwards. Hope this helps. -Romeo
A:AnswerHi Sonny, Thank you so much for your inquiry! Yes! You can download the ESPN App from the Google Play Store and access your ESPN+ account for sports action videos. I hope this helps! - Romeo
A:AnswerI use this TV in a bright room and it works very well. It is not one of the new anti-glare screens. But, it is about as close as you can get without having to pay for the anti-glare screen feature. I have a 10 foot floor to ceiling wall of glass facing southeast and two 4x6 windows just along both sides of my TV. I currently have the TV set to monitor ambient light conditions in the room and I am quite pleased with its performance. My previous TVs were all LG and one Samsung Q6. This one performs much better in the same situation as the previous TVs. I can say that I am finally happy with the light level of the TV in my living room during the day. I can now watch a "dark" horror movie or play any video game at any time of day.
A:AnswerSTILL NO 4K 120 or VRR. Doesn't look like that firmware update is going to happen. Must be why the price keeps dropping. Really bad move by Sony.
