Your TV not having WIFI has nothing to do with any device connected to it. Connect any device to the TV and play. The only issue would be how many HDMI ports your TV has. If you don't have enough ports, some devices will need to be unplugged so you can use others.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was told by the sales rep that you either need a smart tv or a smart Blu-Ray. I chose the less expensive option by choosing a smart Blu-Ray. Your tv doesn't need to be smart if your Blu-Ray is Smart. You also have other HDMI ports on your tv, so if the Blu-Ray is in one port, you have 2 others to connect to whatever devices you may wish to connect :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This Blu-ray player will allow you to have full functionality of its features including access to the internet applications, as long as it is connected to your local network, the HDMI connection will only allow you to send the video and audio signal to the television.~ Jeannette
