• How old is your TV. Our TV is about 7-8 years old and it works fine with it.

• This worked well with my Insignia tv, about 6 yrs. old. My daughter has the same blu-ray and her tv is an LG about 5 yrs. old. No problems using the blu-ray. I havent' tried many of the apps.

• If you have an HDMI connection, you will be fine. I have an LCD that is about 6 years old, and it works fine.
