I hope this information helps and isn't too late. You will need to buy a converter for the available connections on your television. You'll probably need a HDMI female to VGA male converter in addition to an digital audio to analog audio converter. I had to do the research on my own...the sales people (who were much younger and not familiar with older technology) at Best Buy had no idea what I was trying to do when I was trying to set up my DVD player up to my older television. Once you set up the product with the conversions, you will love it! It's compact and streams beautifully with no glitches. It's worth the extra effort.
