QuestionI bought this radio new. The screen is so dim you cannot read it. I turned the dim off and set brightness to 10 and still cannot see the display. I'm I missing something or should my car in?

- Answer Check to make sure the orange/white wire is connected right to the harness. I know this was an issue with my install. You can also troubleshoot on Sony's website https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00032323

QuestionDuring the day the display is so dim you cannot see the numbers on it. Is there a trick to getting the display bright enough to see during the day?

- Answer You will probably need a wiring harness adapter. They are around $15 if they do the install. If you are okay doing your own splicing, you can skip it but the adapter makes it go faster.
