QuestionI bought these speakers for a Sony Turntable System (PS-LX310BT) but I don't know what cords I need to connect the speakers to the turntable, can you point me to the cords I need to hook up the speakers to the turntable?

- Answer I looked up the manual for your turntable and it states: "To listen to audio on vinyl records, either use an audio cable to connect to an audio device or use the BLUETOOTH® function to connect to a BLUETOOTH wireless technology enabled audio device, such as wireless speakers or wireless headphones." So for these speakers you would need to buy a receiver and plug your turntable into the receiver. Then you would plug your speakers into the receiver. Or you can buy a diferent set of speakers designed for wireless. However, if you want the best analog sound for vinyl you should keep these speakers and buy a decent receiver. I did and I'm running a Yamaha R-S202 receiver. Or a Sony STR-DH190 Stereo Receiver is a good choice too. Both have Bluetooth capabilities for streaming music.

- Answer very few amps are 600 watts too much power for bookshelf speakers the tweeters will get damaged.

- Answer Hi Yea, Thanks for your inquiry! Unfortunately, no. You will have to connect the speakers to the speaker output terminals of an amplifier using the speaker cords (not supplied). Note: Make sure the plus (+) and the minus (–) terminals on the speakers are matched to the corresponding plus (+) and minus (–) terminals on the amplifier. Hope this helps! -Sam

- Answer Unless your monitor has speaker outputs, then no. I've never seen a monitor with speaker connections because that would require an amplifier in the monitor and nobody makes one like that. These are 6 ohm and need a compatible amp or receiver to power them.

- Answer Hi, the speakers are 7” wide, 13.25”high and 8.50”deep (cabinet is 7.75” deep and wire connectors protrude a half inch or so. This information can be found on the Best Buy website listing for these speakers. Scroll down and click on specifications for all the details. I measured mine and the numbers are accurate. These are really good speakers. Hope this helps.

- Answer You need an Amplifier to hook them up to. generally people use an AVR Sony makes there own models. i like the models which have sturdy terminal hook ups ( cheaper models have cheapo plastic terminal connections) These bookshelf speakers rock ! Highly recommend

QuestionI’ve been trying to set these speakers up with my audio-technica LP60X-BT record player with no success. My RCA cable does not fit the speaker input and I have no idea how to connect them otherwise. I’m frustrated and new to audio set up please help.

- Answer You connect the speakers to an amplifier with speaker wire, not RCA cables. You then connect the phono player to the amp/receiver into the phono input with the RCA cables. You can't connect speakers directly to a turntable. You won't get any sound that way.

Questionis there a temperature range these wok at.. want to install in a insulated non heated barn but temps go down into the low 30's in winter and low 80's in summer?

- Answer They should be fine at that temperature range. Extreme cold might deteriorate the speaker cones over time but if your temp really doesn't drop much below 30F, you'll be fine. On the warm end 80F is fine.

QuestionDo these take monster cables and will they work with a kenwood stereo system

- Answer Yes and probably yes. The speaker posts have pretty generous holes for the wires. While i don't remember the exact diameter of monster cables, I'd be surprised if they didn’t. On the back of your Kenwood, where the speakers hook up, it should say the minimum ohm impedance. If it's 4 or 6, you're good. If it's 8, you could still use these speakers but not at really loud levels without risking damage to your Kenwood.

- Answer Doubtful. In parallel, you're presenting just below a 3.5 ohm load to your receiver. You'll cook your receiver and also, without crossovers, you'll have poor control over the frequency range of each speaker. The formula for wiring in parallel is (ohm A x ohm B) / (ohm A + ohm B). (6 x 8) / (6 + 8) = 3.429 ohms - no bueno for your receiver.

- Answer Through a receiver you can but these are not Bluetooth speakers. These require wired connection that go to the receiver. Speaker wire sold separately.

- Answer No, these are passive speakers with no amplification. You will need a regular amplifier/receiver to power these and you would adjust the volume there.
