Q: Question4 Questions. Can this take BOTH still shots AND do video? Can the camera go on a tripod? Can the camera be initiated (start) remote so I can do business videos of myself without someone with me? Can I edit the video (plug in music, slides, etc.)?

• A:Answer It's a great camera. This is my third Sony Cybershot. The first one burned up in a house fire. The second one had the lens extension motor go bad after five years. The second one had a 20X optical zoom and I thought that was great. This one has a 30X optical zoom that is fantastic. From the beach I take amateur photos of surfers out in the water. With the 30X lens, 18.2 megapixels, and 10 frames/second continuous shooting I get great, detailed shots at a distance. As to what comes with the camera, just a charger and battery. There is no camera case and no camera card. The photo below was taken from about 200 yards away.

• A:Answer The DSC-HX80 does not have a microphone jack. It is not in the price range but the closest to a compact camera is the DSCRX1007 camera has a stereo mini jack.

• A:Answer The canon is a beast of it on, its clearer and quality is better but it cost alot more. The Sony is a nice camera that takes good pictures and videos. For the price you pay its a no brainer. The results from the Sony are pleasant and saves money in your pocket for close results as canon.

• A:Answer This camera does come with a wrist strap. It has a small look to install a small wrist strap and not a traditional body strap. You can use the ISO screw mount on the bottom to add a third party strap.
