“I am buying for a visually impaired person. 1) Is it easy for some one to turn on the voice activation if they have limited vision? 2) Does voice activation work for play back and searching previously or older recordings? Thnx”

Hi Dan, This specific recorder doesn't have VOICE OPERATED RECORDING feature. We recommend the Sony ICD-UX560. This has the Voice Operated Recording, however, it doesn't support searching older recordings via voice. Thanks, >Joffrey
