“Will this recorder work efficiently for lectures in a backpack I will be having lectures where some professors are not to keen on recorders. So I would like to have something that can pick up the lecture while being placed in my book bag.”

The unique 2-position microphone offers powerful recording capability. However, with the recorder place inside the bag may not offer you the best outcome. Your best option is to utilize external microphone (not included) and clip it outside the bag while the main unit is hidden.
