A:AnswerHi dixie, press the Menu button and go to Settings to open Shooting Settings. Look for Write Date to enable the camera to superimpose the date on the pictures. A:AnswerThe battery is internal, cannot be taken out. You just plug the camera into an outlet to charge, like a smart phone. I ordered the SD card that they suggested, my old card did not work even though it was a Sony. Also, to download pics on you computer, you can do this through a USB port.
