For those with long or thick hair, the scratching noise often experienced with behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aids due to hair brushing against exposed microphones is a common concern. In contrast, in-the-ear (ITE) hearing aids like the C10 and C20 generally offer an advantage for reducing this type of hair-related noise. Because their microphones are more discreetly tucked inside the ear canal, they are largely protected from hair contact, which can minimize or avoid the irritating scratching sounds common with BTE styles. - Answer Yes they recommend both and this App actually can balance hearing. You are actually given a hearing test in both ears that matches the frequencies each ear needs before you can use them. Tip: take the tests in Avery quiet area for bet results

- Answer Absolutely you not only can answer but my iPhone shows me the ear so I know when it is preset. If it isn’t there you can just touch to set it on the drop down menu for the call. No Fishing for settings

- Answer Best buy will give you 15 days unless you upgrade your membership for $50, where upon you will get 60 days. Buy direct from sony for same price and get 30-days.

- Answer Hi veryvincie, Great question! The CRE-E10 streams calls and media to iOS devices running on iOS 13 and higher. Calling is not hands free, as the hearing aids do not have two-way microphones. You'll still need to initiate the call from your phone and talk into you phone for the other person to hear you. Disposable hearing aid batteries cannot be used in this model. Our Sony CRE-C10 OTC hearing aids utilize a size 10 hearing aid battery. Currently they are only for adults with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss. I'm sorry to hear that your father is struggling. Please note that the Sony OTC hearing aids are only sold in the United States at this time, and the the Sony | Hearing Control app is also only available to for download and use in the United States. The app is needed for setup and customization of Sony OTC hearing aids, they cannot be set-up on a computer. Regards, Erin
