Q: QuestionIf I have a Sony SF-E Series 128GB SDXC UHS-II Card U3 read speed 270mb/s and write speed of 120mb/s (purchased from best buy) will this AX53 split into multiple clips or can this camera and card record 35-40mins continuous file with no breaks?

• A:Answer It will not split the video into clips as long as your card is formatted in exFAT. You can format it using the camera menus. That card should work just fine.

• A:Answer Hello Sue21smokey, for direct live streaming you will have to find a camera able to use RTMP/RTMPS protocols such as the PXW-Z90 or HXR-NX80. You will be able to stream with other cameras including this AX53 but it will require a computer and an external HDMI capture card connected to the computer where you can output to.

• A:Answer I wouldn't use it in the front rows for action shots, but if you are at a distance, it will be fine. The auto focus is slow at times, but if you are at a distance the infinity makes it usable. This camcorder has issues with the focal points when objects are close and moving fast. I can video faster focus with my full frame camera, but I bought this for those events that are more than 30 mins long.

It isn't anywhere in the manual or box, they just changed the name this year and caused a lot of confusion for finding it. It is on par with the Canon app for their cameras.

Q: QuestionIt appears as if the data code will only display during playback through the camcorder itself. Is there a way to display the data code WITHOUT playback through the camcorder (eg. removing the SD card and playback through a PC)?

• A:Answer There is a setting in the menu to allow it to record and display the data code on playback through the file on PC or Card reader. After that, I don't know if you can remove it post or not.
