- Answer A lot more - In [HQ] mode 1220 minutes, in [SP] mode 1750 minutes and in [LP] mode 3660 minutes.

- Answer The DCR-SR68 has a Built-in Zoom Microphone. You can record a movie with vivid sound appropriate to the zoom position, However there is no jack for an external Mic.

- Answer If you mean HD as in Hard Drive then yes it uses a hard drive to store movies rather than disc or tape. If you mean HD as in High Definition then no - it's a standard 720 x 480 resolution camcorder.

- Answer Hi Joe, I suggest formatting the HDD of your camcorder to free up the space. But please back up your files in a computer before doing so, so you won't lose your videos. Thanks_Mitch

- Answer The night shot feature had been replaced with a night view modes. A preset Twilight, Sunrise&Sunset and Fireworks modes have been added to scene selection for recording effectively in various situations. Video light is also available to assist with night recording.

- Answer The camcorder will not record on the Hard Drive and SD card at the same time. However, you can make a copy of the videos from hard drive directly to memory card.

- Answer No, the DCR-SR68/L does not have a mini 8mm tape deck, what it does have is a large 80GB Hard drive to hold many hours of your favorite video footage, as well as an additional memory storage slot to incorporate a secure Digital, Secure Digital High Capacity, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo or Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo media card up to 32GB (not included).

- Answer Unfortunately the DCR-SR68L does not have a microphone jack or active shoe for adding external microphone. The following camcorder models have both microphone jack and active Accessory shoe: HDR-HC9, HDR-XR550V and HDR-CX550V
