- Answer Unfortunately there is not a slow motion recording or time lapse recording functionality. however using Picture Motion Browser you can edit your videos after they are taken.

QuestionPurchased VRD MC-6 DVDirect recorder for my other Sony ... can it be used with the DCR-SR68 as i see they recommend the the VRD-P1 instead

QuestionBurning from Camera to DVD / Computer Compatability1) I have an older Sony handycam that came with a docking cradle that allows it to be plugged directly into a burner for transfer. Does the DCR-SR68 come with the same thing? If not how do you connect straight to a burner for transfer? 2) Is the DCR-SR68 compatable with a MAC if not is there software that will allow it work with a MAC?

- Answer A dock is not required, simply connect directly to the AV port with the supplied AV cable. (see the below Illustration) The supplied software “PMB” is not supported by Macintosh computers. To process photos using a Macintosh computer connected to your camcorder, see the following website. http://guide.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/mac/ms/us/ as for mac software, consult Apple for assistance with Video editing software for the Macintosh.

- Answer Yes, you can use Sony’s DVDirect DVD recorders. Current models are VRD-P1, VRD-MC6 and VRD-MC10 – all of which are compatible with the DCR-SR68/L Handycam.

- Answer Some Sony camcorders support this - look for "USB Streaming" in the marketing specifications. The DCR-SR68/L does not have this feature however.

- Answer The charging time for full charge is 115 minutes. Continuous recording time on a full charge - 100 minutes, typical recording time 45 minutes. Playback time on a full charge is 135 minutes.
