- Answer Hi Sara, yes, you can. You can attach an external microphone, such as the ECMW1M, to the Multi Interface shoe or plug in the ECMAW4 to the mic jack of the camcorder. Thanks_Mitch

- Answer Hi firsttimer, yes, you can use the camera to both record videos and take pictures. You can take a picture by pressing the Photo button at the top of the unit. You can enable the Smile Shutter to automatically snap pictures whenever the camera detects a smile. Thanks_Mitch

QuestionWhat are the primary differences between this model and the CX675 HANDYCAM® WITH EXMOR R™ CMOS SENSOR other than the projector on this one? Trying to figure out the benefits of one over the other before purchasing. Thanks.

- Answer Hi san12345, there are many differences between the two. The HDRCX670, for example, has a 5 axis image stabilization system for more control over camera shake. - Answer Yes, both tilt and pivot. You can also flip it forward so you can monitor yourself for solo filming. You can also wifi to a smartphone or tablet and use that as a monitor.
