• NO, this device comes with a temporary cable which you can leave plugged into a cigarette lighter, which is what I do. Or you can have Best Buy Geeks install it with a directly wired cable which the will nicely route to the auto's fuse box. There are many other wiring options. Optionally, I think Best Buy Geeks charge 55.00 USD to wire it , if you dont want to use the cable plugged into your cigarette lighter.
