• Yes, this software will allow you to import video from multiple sources and edit footage by adding or subtracting segments and creating title sequences. Look at Sony Vegas for if your son would like to have more options for filters and image art to include in his videos. Be sure you have a fast I7 machine as rendering will take forever if there is minimal memory and mediocre video card installed in your computer. Happy You Tubing!

• Most videos of that type require multiple layers of video and audio, in which case Sony Movie Studio would be sufficient for that
