Retailers are trying their best and each is doing their own measures but I don't think it's enough. Best Buy puts you into the queue when the stock becomes available and during the purchase steps, they will either email or text you a verification code before you can proceed with your purchase. Unfortunately the stock sells out during this window while people are working their way through the buying steps. I think all retailers need to limit PS5 sales to one unit per billing or shipping address until the initial pent up demand is met and supply is more readily available. If someone is buying 5-20 units (across multiple transactions), they are obviously not buying it for personal use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Something really needs to be done, I have tried multiple different times to purchase a ps5 at different retailers but without any luck. I’m also seeing lots of sellers on eBay with 10 plus for sale and there are a few with 20 plus units pictured. I’m gonna wait it out when I get one I get one. I wish I had a answer to your question, but unfortunately they keep rolling out system after system and it’s a free for all and it’s the same crap every time. I have a job and own a few rental properties so I’m pretty busy and it’s hard for me to check the retailers product availability multiple time per day. I wish you luck getting a system soon.
